This Edmonton, Alberta. It’s Diane’s hometown. Nice place. Not in January. Or eight other months a year. That’s why we chose Malaysia. We lived in Calgary, 200 miles further south, for six years. Also a nice place. Except for the nine month winter, funny accents and non-pushy Canadians.
‘Nuff said.
More on our previous Canadian expat life for the American (me) to follow.
I have to admit that I love Calgary, especially the fact that it is so close to the Rockies. But, like you said, SNOW!! Do I need to say more? That is one thing I don’t miss about Canada and that is shoveling snow! But a few typhoons head our way in Taiwan during the summer but luckily, it is not everyday.

ah, snow. Certainly none of that here in drought stricken Northern California. And I was never to fond on “plugging in the car” which was new to me when I moved there
