报告人简介：

Professor M. Hesham El Naggar is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the Engineering Institute of Canada. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the prestigious international journal Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, and has previously served as an associate editor of the renowned geotechnical engineering journal Canadian Geotechnical Journal. Additionally, he is a board member for over ten international or regional academic journals. Professor El Naggar has long been engaged in research in the fields of soil-structure interaction under static and dynamic loading, soil dynamics and earthquake engineering, static and dynamic behavior of pile foundations, long-term performance of marine structures, and dynamic foundation design. He has successfully led research projects totaling over 20 million Canadian dollars (equivalent to 120 million RMB), and has supervised the education of over 120 master’s and doctoral students. With a focus on these areas, he has authored over 400 papers indexed in SCI and EI, and has been honored with several international awards and accolades, including the G.G. Meyerhof Award (2002), Colloquium Speaker at the Canadian Geotechnical Conference (2002), the A.G. Stermac Award (2007), and the Engineering Medal for Research and Development from the Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education and the Professional Engineers Ontario (2015).
